Robotics in Serbia - The meeting of Serbian team on this year’s Robotics Olympiad and ETF Robotics team Serbian team participating in this year’s Robotics Olympiad that will be held in Washington D.C. in the USA that consists of Kreativno Pero Secondary School students, Serbian Secondary School Nikola Tesla from Budapest and 12th Belgrade Secondary School had a chance to exchange experiences with ETF Robotics team that consists of students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Belgrade University. On the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, a part of ETF Robotics team, Marija Novicic and Anita Lupsic from the deparment of Signals and Systems, Rade Vulikic from the department of Electronics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Bojan Ostojic from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, deparment of Mechanical production, greeted our team and presented two robots that they are going to participate with on The National Youth Championship in Robotics EUROBOT that will be held in Novi Sad on 28 April 2017. National Championship is a step toward qualifying for the international competition EUROBOT 2017 that will be held from 24th to 28th May 2017 in France. EUROBOT is a competition for secondary school and faculty students and represents the most significant competition in Robotics in Europe. Our team, and the members of ETF Robotics team exchanged views on making and programming the robot, talked about strategies they will apply and obstacles they might have while preparing for the competition. Serbian team presented rules for the Robotics Olympiad competition - FIRST GLOBAL CHALLENGE 2017 as well as possibilities of the robot they are creating.
