Following the Italian, Indonesian, Serbian, Austrian, Russian, Australian, Chinese and Kazakh cuisine days, the educational institution Kreativno pero organized this year the ninth International Cuisine Day, which was dedicated to Greece. The beautiful event, supported by the Embassy of Greece, included dancing, music, a painting exhibition and, of course, traditional Greek dishes.
H.E. Ambassador of Greece, Maria Levanti, and Mr. Petropoulos, a member of the Kreativno pero Parents Association, opened the event and addressed the attendees. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Greek Embassy, as well as students, parents and friends of the School.
We are very happy that our goal - to support multiculturalism, cosmopolitanism and to get to know the traditions and culture of countries around the world - is supported by many friends of the Kreativno pero school, said the Director Gordana Kedžić in her address.
The artistic program, prepared and performed by the children of the kindergarten and the elementary school, was followed by a tasting of Greek Cuisine. The beautiful space of Villa Jelena also contributed to the unique atmosphere of the event, while the Greek dishes were created by the school's partners - Piatakia restaurant, Souvenir restaurant and Harmonija catering - but also by the students' parents.
