Our Concept

Kreativno pero Secondary school has been operating since the 2014/2015 school year, based on the approval of the Ministry of Education. We implement the general grammar school programme of the Ministry of Education, which allows access to all universities in Serbia and abroad and is aligned with international educational programmes. We set high educational goals for our students, support and develop their natural desire to learn and develop. We actively encourage independent learning through a mentoring approach, research and problem-based tasks, the use of various interactive and cooperative methods, thematic and project-based teaching and monitoring of students’ achievements.

We also provide support in professional orientation and career counseling of students and monitor their further academic achievements and professional successes. We expect our students to apply to prestigious universities around the world and we help them fill out applications for those faculties. We encourage our students to understand the importance of applying to these universities and securing the highest possible scholarships for their studies, thus enabling them to make important decisions about their education and their careers.

Through the work of the Alumni Club, we foster the cooperation with our former Secondary school students, now university students who live and work all over the world. Their knowledge and valuable experiences enhance our work and enrich our school community.

We have established successful cooperation with the Center for Emerging Young Leaders EIMAI, which conducts Prism Career Match, an online career test. In our Secondary school, students can attend different extracurricular activities, according to their own interests and our offerings.

Students from our ICT club have been participating in the International Robotics Olympiad (FIRST Global Challenge) since 2017 (The 2017 FIRST Global Challenge - Washington, The 2018 FIRST Global Challenge - Mexico City, The 2019 FIRST Global Challenge - Dubai, The 2020 FIRST Global Challenge - Virtual, The 2021 FIRST Global Challenge - Virtual, The 2022 FIRST Global Challenge - Geneva, The 2023 FIRST Global Challenge - Singapore, The 2024 FIRST Global Challenge - Athens), where they successfully represent Serbia.

Kreativno pero Secondary School students, with the support of the school management, applied for the 2020/2021 Zayed Sustainability Prize.

Secondary School Curriculum

Our students attend the general grammar school course according to the programme of the Ministry of Education, whereas in the elective part of the school programme they attend classes according to the Cambridge programme. In addition, 30% of regular classes in selected subjects are taught as bilingual classes, based on the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Наши ученици/е похађају општи смер гимназије по програму Министарства просвете, а у факултативном делу школског програма похађају наставу по Кембриџ програму. Поред тога, 30% редовне наставе на изабраним предметима реализује се као билингвална настава, на основу одобрења Министарства просвете.

* The Secondary school is obligated to offer 4 elective programmes to students in the first and second year, from which the student must choose 2 programmes. The student has the right to change their elective programme after the first year.

* The Secondary school is obligated to offer 5 programmes to students in the third and fourth year, from which the student must choose 2. The student cannot change elective programmes during the final two years of secondary school.

Based on the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, issued in 2018, our Secondary school has approval to implement a curriculum for students with exceptional skills in computer science and information technology in a four-year education programme.
