The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is one of the key pillars of ES Kreativno pero. Established in the 2009/2010 school year, the Association gathers all parents whose children attend the institution, with the aim of establishing close ties between families, kindergarten, primary and secondary school. Their work is voluntary, and activities are organized in cooperation with children, students, school staff and management.
Throughout the year, the association participates in various initiatives that promote humanity, solidarity and unity. Their activities serve as an example of the system’s openness and creativity in fostering cooperation between parents, children, students and the institution itself.
Humanitarian Activities of the Parent-Teacher Association
We Are All Santa Claus - A New Year's Charity event
In the spirit of holiday joy, every December, Kreativno pero, in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association, organizes a traditional humanitarian initiative that involves parents, children, students, staff, and numerous companies that generously donate their products. With the magic of the New Year’s holidays and the spirit of togetherness, presents are being collected in the form of clothing, sweets, snacks, toys, books, and other necessities.
As part of the New Year's humanitarian initiative, carefully packed presents, filled with love and joy, bring smiles to children in Serbia who live in orphanages, shelters, hospitals, as well as individual families living in difficult conditions. The initiative is one of the most important examples of solidarity, bringing together people from various walks of life with the common goal of bringing holiday joy to everyone.
Easter Charity Auction
During the Easter holidays, Kreativno pero, in cooperation with the Parent-Teacher Association, organizes a special event where children, with love and creativity, decorate wooden Easter eggs. Each Easter egg becomes a unique work of art, inspired by the spirit of holiday joy. These eggs then become part of an auction held in a festive setting. Parents, friends of our school, and our staff bid for the eggs they like most, through a silent and public auction, marking this moment of togetherness and solidarity. All the proceeds raised are donated to the charity, with the aim of providing necessary support to the youngest, bringing them peace and hope during this special holiday.
International Cuisine Day
International Cuisine Day represents a unique opportunity for socializing and exchanging cultures, in the spirit of cosmopolitanism and multiculturalism. Organized in cooperation with the Parent-Teacher Association, this event emphasises the diversity of traditions through gastronomy, cultural-artistic programs, and the joint participation of children, parents, and employees.
Every year, in a pleasant atmosphere, participants enjoy the gastronomic diversity through a wealth of flavours and specialties prepared according to traditional recipes.
So far, the event has promoted the traditions and flavors of Italian, Indonesian, Serbian, Austrian, Russian, Australian, Chinese, Kazakh, Greek, and Spanish cuisines.
Through this event, Kreativno pero reminds us that exploring and understanding different cultures often begins with their cuisine. Food is much more than a meal - it symbolizes the identity, tradition, and heritage of a country. Tastes, smells and cooking techniques tell stories about people, customs, and values that shape the culture and spirit of a nation.
Summer Bazaar
The end of the school year is marked by the Summer Bazaar, where children and students present their handcrafts and products created during classes and extracurricular activities. This event encourages creativity, humanity, and an entrepreneurial spirit in children. The proceeds from the sales are donated to the charity.
Kreativno pero Parent-Teacher Association is a symbol of unity and solidarity. Their activities aim not only to provide support to those in need but also to foster the values of humanity, tolerance, and creativity in the youngest.
