The implementation of the Cambridge programme within the Kreativno pero Secondary school began in the 2014/2015 school year. Since then, the curricula of English, second foreign language, Mathematics and ICT are implemented in the same way as in 9000 schools worldwide that make up the network of the Cambridge system of international Examinations.
Our students have the opportunity to take exams and obtain some of the international certificates such as IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and/or GCE A LEVEL (General Certificate of Advanced Education).
Within the Cambridge programme, we offer the Secondary 2 and Cambridge Advanced programmes.
The Secondary 2 programme is designed for students aged 14 to 16. This programme continues to build upon the knowledge acquired at Cambridge Secondary 1 level. Students study subjects within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
As part of the Secondary 2 programme, the following subjects are available to students as part of regular classes: English, French/German, Mathematics, ICT, Global Perspectives, as well as other subjects upon personal request.
In addition to the subjects within the Secondary 2 programme, which are available to our students as part of regular classes, Kreativno pero is also accredited for the implementation of other subjects. Additional Cambridge programmes are not included in the regular tuition fee. In case you are interested in one of the additional Cambridge programmes, we will provide you with information about the additional fee.
The Cambridge Advanced programme is intended for young people aged 16 to 19. It expands the basics acquired at the Cambridge Secondary 2 level. It helps young people understand more complex concepts, phenomena and processes, enables them to learn independently, develops critical thinking skills and focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary for successful continuation of education, which is highly valued by universities.
