The Kreativno Pero educational system successfully organized the international professional conference Cambridge Early Years Connect: Where Childhood Meets Innovation, which was held on March 3 at the premises of Alfa BK University in Belgrade.
The conference brought together national and international experts, preschool teachers, pedagogues, psychologists, and educational leaders with the aim of exchanging knowledge and advancing practices in the field of early childhood education.
The conference was opened by Dr. Neda Pavlović, Director of the Kreativno Pero system, and Sara Ceroni, representative of Cambridge University Press & Assessment for Southeast Europe. The keynote lecture was delivered by Sharon Henham-Dale from Cambridge International Education, who spoke about designing purposeful educational practices that foster the development of competencies children will need for the future.

As part of the program, psychologist Smiljana Grujić from the Novak Djokovic Foundation also delivered a presentation, introducing contemporary approaches to parenting and children’s socio-emotional development.
A special segment of the conference consisted of interactive workshops focused on learning through play and movement, the development of early literacy and numeracy skills, inquiry-based learning, as well as children’s emotional development and well-being.
The conference concluded with a discussion and exchange of experiences among participants, highlighting that continuous professional development and international collaboration are key to improving the quality of early childhood education.
