The visit was organized in anticipation of the upcoming Robotics Olympics, to be held in Athens from September 26 to 29, 2024, where our students will proudly represent Serbia as part of the national team.The reception was attended by the Executive Director of Kreativno pero, Dr. Neda Pavlovic, and the team’s technical mentor, Assistant Professor Dr. Vuk Vujovic, along with student representatives from Kreativno pero High School: Marko Jovanovic, Kristina Mihajlovic, and Bogdan Stamenovic. Joining them were Dusan Mladenovic from the Nikola Tesla Technical School and Aleksandar Krizmanic from the Twelfth Belgrade Gymnasium, all participants in a special program for students with exceptional abilities in computer science and informatics.
During the meeting, the importance of robotics as a field that inspires youth to develop their skills and creativity was emphasized. Her Excellency Mrs. Maria Levanti praised the students’ dedication and enthusiasm, underscoring that international collaboration is key to advancing innovation and technology. The students had the opportunity to present their ideas and received recommendations on places to visit in Athens, which further inspired and motivated the team for the upcoming competition.
Also in attendance were Mrs. Bozica Velousis, a member of the Executive Board of the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia, and Evangelina Velousis, a student at Kreativno pero.
Kreativno pero is enthusiastically preparing for the competition, confident that their participation will contribute to promoting Serbia on the international robotics stage.
