We are proud to announce that our esteemed professor, Assoc. Prof. Dr Vuk Vujović, recently took part in the First International Congress of the National University of Sciences (UNC), titled Scientific Convergences for a Shared Future, as an international speaker. His outstanding lecture was followed in person by 40 professors from the National University of Venezuela, while more than 7,000 students across the country watched online.
This prominent scientific gathering was held on 29 and 30 May 2025 in Caracas at two prestigious venues: the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) and the La Carlota Convention Center. The host institution was the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández‑Morán.
Assoc. Prof. Dr Vujović’s presentation - The Algorithmic Parrot: Memory, Generalization, and the Illusory Reasoning of Large Language Models - made a significant contribution to key discussions on international scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. He emphasized the need for a critical approach to modern technologies and highlighted the academic community’s role in their development and application.
The visit was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Science of the Republic of Serbia, to whom we are sincerely grateful for the opportunity and honor extended to our professor.
The participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr Vuk Vujović not only enriched the congress program but also further strengthened our school’s international reputation, reaffirming our commitment to education, global cooperation, and scientific advancement.
