Conference Peace Begins with Me

On Friday, October 24, 2025, the students of the Kreativno Pero Educational System held the conference Peace Begins with Me at the Playground Expo space at the Belgrade Fair. The conference was organized on the occasion of the United Nations Day and was dedicated to promoting peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding among young people.

The conference was opened by Jovan Milić, Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Founder of the organization Find Raul, Marko Rakić from UNICEF, and Prof. Dr. Neda Pavlović, Principal of Kreativno Pero. They emphasized the importance of solidarity, responsibility, and empathy as the foundations of a modern society.

We should always help others and strive to be the best version of ourselves, Jovan Milić stated, while Marko Rakić reminded that the United Nations is a bridge connecting people around the world. Principal Neda Pavlović highlighted that peace and tolerance begin within each of us, and that education has the power to change the world.

Through their projects and discussions, the students demonstrated that peace begins with each individual — through small gestures, words, and choices that make the world a better place.
