The Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Serbia to the UN visited the Serbian team at the International Robotics Olympiad in Geneva
FIRST Global Challenge is an international competition that gathers robotics interested youth from all over the world and gives them the opportunity to compete, meet each other, share knowledge and experience and present their countries to the whole world. This year's competition officially began with the Opening ceremony at the Palexpo Center in Geneva on October 13, 2022. Grammar School Kreativno pero, Electrical Engineering High School Nikola TeslaMathematical Grammar School and 12th Belgrade Grammar School, with their mentors, represent Serbia this year. Our national team members had the honor of carrying the flag of their country in front of full stands, and before the Opening ceremony, His Excellency, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Serbia to the UN and other international Organizations in Geneva, Mr. Dejan Zlatanović, and the attaché Mr. Miroslav Zotović, visited them and wished our team much success.
 
The Opening ceremony was attended by many other prominent figures in the field of STEM, as well as the founder of the FIRST Global competition Dean Kamen, the founder of the XPRIZE foundation Peter Diamandis and representatives of the prestigious universities Yale and MIT.
