Parents' Profession Day
As part of the Parents' Profession Day program, a panel was held today for the eighth-grade primary school students and the first three grades of high school, dedicated to presenting the profession of a maritime vessel safety inspector. The guest speaker was the mother of a student from our school, who shared her professional experience in a truly inspiring way.

Here’s how the students experienced the lecture:

"We had a unique opportunity to attend a presentation by the mother of one of our classmates. Her unique and rather unusual profession amazed us all. She is a ship safety inspector. She talked to us about how she transitioned from being an economics graduate to entering this rare profession in our region, about lifelong learning, and the numerous trainings she regularly attends. She also explained how valuable strong foreign language skills have been in her career.

She taught us about the entire industry that supports maritime traffic, about the parts of a ship and the crew responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly, and most importantly, she introduced us to the strict safety measures that must be followed.

After her talk, it became clearer to us why our school emphasizes general foundational education, foreign languages, and broadening our interests—because none of us can truly know where life will take us."
